This quality stylus with a brushed metal barrel is attached to a high breaking strain cord which can be extended from the reel to any length (by means of a ratchet in the reel) up to a very useful maximum of 28" (71cm). Simply press the central button on the reel when you are finished using the stylus and the cord will automatically retract. Just clip it to your belt or a convenient pocket and its immediately available for use. It's ideal in the office, at home, in the air with WinPilot or when using your PDA's GPS on foot across country.  Never lose a stylus again ! Not only can this stylus on a tether be used on a belt, pocket or attached to a desk, but it can also be used in a car with your Sat Nav system. No more incorrect entries due to fingers being too large for the touch-screen's small icons. No more fiddling about trying to withdraw the existing stylus from the unit with little clearance between the unit and the screen to do so. Shown below are three of the most popular cradles currently used in cars with PDA/GPS systems. With hollow arms they allow the stylus reel to be simply and securely attached with its clip. Never lose a stylus again !   Ideal for TomTom I have supplied two small black tie-wraps to permit secure attachment to other mounts that don't have the hollow arms or to attach it to any other convenient protrusion.
What if you want to attach it to a smooth surface though? No problem.... just pull the spring clip out of its socket at the rear of the reel and stick either one of the supplied adhesive-backed Velcro discs to the reel's rear surface. Stick the other Velcro disc to the chosen smooth surface and then just join the two discs together so that the reel is held securely in place where you want it to be ....... ideal for a Sat Nav on a Motorbike.
