The Universal Tethered-Stylus

Made by 1st.Things, this quality stylus is attached to a high breaking strain cord which can be extended from the reel to any length up to a useful maximum of 28" (71cm).   The cord will then stay at the length you have selected (by means of a ratchet in the reel) until you have finished using the stylus.   Then you simply press the central button on the reel and the cord will automatically retract back into the reel. Just clip it to your belt or a convenient pocket and its immediately available for use.  It's ideal in the office, at home, in the air with WinPilot or when using your PDA's GPS on foot across country.

I have supplied two small black tie-wraps to permit secure attachment to other mounts that don't have the hollow arms or to attach it to any other convenient protrusion.

What if you want to attach it to a smooth surface though? No problem.... just pull the spring clip out of its socket at the rear of the reel and stick either one of the supplied adhesive-backed Velcro discs to the reel's rear surface. Stick the other Velcro disc to the chosen smooth surface and then just join the two discs together so that the reel is held securely in place where you want it to be ....... ideal for a Sat Nav on a Motorbike, epecially as you won't need to remove your gloves to use fingers on the screen.
